About me

I’m a self-shooting freelance journalist with experience of filming, editing and reporting in the UK and abroad. I have an award nominated documentary under my belt and am competent in producing news packages, current affairs and self-authored features across a wide range of genres. Through work oversees I’ve acquired a new passion, photojournalism. With Avid and Finalcut Pro as part of my skillset I don’t have a phobia of claustrophobic edit suites nor working nocturnal regimes.

I love to tell compelling stories and always add a splash of colour, passion and enthusiasm in all my work. I decided to chase the industry of journalism and production after watching Alejandro González Iñárritu’s film, Babel. Since, I have enjoyed unearthing stories in many hidden parts of the world. Last year, I cycled 5000 miles down the African continent to make the football World Cup, interviewing various African sporting heroes en route.

I generally love life and am interested in everything from politics to sport to entertainment. I’m not shy of a challenge and later this year I’m faced with the grueling task of attempting to complete a full Ironman.
